Frostproof, FL - October 29th - 31st marks the return of the Monster Match. Eight stages and over 400 rounds makes this Halloween match one of the most original USPSA approved matches in the country.
Shannon Smith, a world class shooter, hosted the same style match a few years ago and it was a great success. "I’m excited to announce the match is back this year and hopefully will become an annual event. It’s funny, I had people asking for a couple years when and if the match would be back…now I have a lot of folks telling me that was one of the first big matches they ever shot and want it back."
All the information you’ll need is on the match website www.TheMonsterMatch.net
Shannon also says "We have a streamlined sign up process and finally no more paper applications and freakin’ checks. We have one of a kind Division HOA trophies, cool plaques for class winners, kick ass stages, and an awesome venue…..you won’t want to miss this one!"
Please spread the word, and spread the website |

It's official - the WAC is set to host the 2011 IDPA Florida State Championship in March of 2011. Reserve the date: March 11-13.
Much of the success of last years state match was due to the contributions (stage design, SO participation, etc.) made by various state clubs. Last years Match Director (Dan Bernard) pulled off such a great match, we asked him (pleaded actually) to do it one more time - and he has agreed to do so.
Check back soon for match details including registration open date, application and entry fees, squadding arrangements and other details. Hope to see you here in March!!!

Two years ago this fall the WAC, with the hard work of our members, b uilt the Action Shooters a place to shoot and hold competitions, many of you remember shooting on the Jack Jones and Multi-purpose. Things have changed for the better for Action shooting and now we want to do the same for our Junior Shooters! Problem is we still have a big mortgage on the Action bays so were going to need to take action through donations. The Wyoming Antelope Club’s Junior Shooter program has produced many champion shooters, seen many college scholarships awarded, and consistently placed in the top 10 teams in our country. Every year it continues to produce some of the top competitors in our Nation! As most of you know our team currently trains in the upstairs of the pole barn, yes the pole barn, and must travel in order to participate in competitions.
