Greetings All,

January was a big month for Action Pistol. We held all of our scheduled matches and attendance was great! We had our biggest every monthly USPSA match with 60+ shooters at the GCLS Sunday match. We had around 40 shooters at the WAC Practical shooters match and we had 50 shooters (again a record) at the monthly IDPA club match. Weeknight matches were also well attended.

The WAC also had the annual elections and I am pleased with the turn out by our discipline members. The result of the election was, in my opinion, excellent and I think we will continue to see great support from the BoD for all disciplines at the WAC. Thank you again for voting!

February is going to be a busy month at the WAC. As you know, we are again hosting the IDPA state championship on the last weekend of this month. I am pleased to announce that the match is full! 250 shooters are signed up and we are out of slots. We had a 197 last year so we view this as a great increase.

If you are not shooting or working the match as an IDPA SO and you are a WAC RO, we could really use some help marshalling traffic and keeping things flowing effectively through the weekend. Please contact Dan Bernard if you can help as a WAC RO during that weekend.

Due to the IDPA State match, we will be cancelling some matches in February. Here is the match schedule for this month:

Weekly Matches:

Tuesday Nights- Action Pistol- USPSA rules. 5 Stages Setup starts at 5 pm. Sign up at 6 pm. Walkthrough at 6:30 pm. We will shoot all Tuesday matches in Feb.

Friday Nights- Action Pistol- USPSA rules. 3 Stages. Setup starts at 5 pm. Sign up at 6 pm. Walkthrough at 6:30 pm. NOTE- Friday 2-26 match is CANCELED!


Monthly Matches:

Work Party! We need help this month! We need to clean up and repair the new bays. Please come out and help. Work Party is 8 am to 12 pm this Saturday (2-6.)
