January is shaping up to be a cold month for us central Florida types. We will attempt to shoot all of the scheduled matches this month even if it is cold. However, if it is cold and raining, we will likely cancel matches. Please make sure and sign up as a member of this website. We will use the website mail function to keep everyone updated if we must cancel a match.

January is election time at the WAC. I cannot stress enough how important it is for club members to come out and vote at the elections. Club officer and board composition directly effect the future of the action shooting sports at the WAC. The election is Weds. Jan 27th. Voting will be open between 6 pm and 8 pm. Please take the time to come over to the club and cast your ballot. Your vote is absolutely critical!

Quick Notes for 2010-

* The 2010 IDPA State match will be held on the last weekend of Feb. We think it is likely that the match will fill up. If you are planning to shoot it, get your application in ASAP.

* Going forward, we will alternate between rifle and shotgun every other month for the 3rd Sunday 2-Gun match. January will be Shotgun/Pistol, Febuary will be Rifle/Pistol, etc.

* We will be likely hold the Factory Gun Classic again in 2010, but we will probably schedule it in December. Watch this space for details.

* FAST Academy is teaching at the WAC. Contact Shannon Smith (www.fastacademy.net) for details on how to become a better competition shooter.
