Two years ago this fall the WAC, with the hard work of our members, b uilt the Action Shooters a place to shoot and hold competitions, many of you remember shooting on the Jack Jones and Multi-purpose. Things have changed for the better for Action shooting and now we want to do the same for our Junior Shooters! Problem is we still have a big mortgage on the Action bays so were going to need to take action through donations.
The Wyoming Antelope Club’s Junior Shooter program has produced many champion shooters, seen many college scholarships awarded, and consistently placed in the top 10 teams in our country. Every year it continues to produce some of the top competitors in our Nation! As most of you know our team currently trains in the upstairs of the pole barn, yes the pole barn, and must travel in order to participate in competitions.

After long debates the Florida State Championship has been scheduled. September 17-19th is the date. With only a short time to get everything together, Central Florida Rifle & Pistol Club has agreed to host the match in the 3rd week of September 2010. The match is predicted to have a new platform using volunteers from many of the Florida clubs to design, build and manage stages. Gulf Coast Lead Slingers and WAC Action Pistol Club have agreed to three of the stages and other clubs will be asked to enter their designs as well. Having only two and a half months is ambitious but with the experience from all the clubs that usually pull together it should be a challenge for all. Get your Application here
